Ms Wen Coco is not able to make it for 6 June 2009 Bellydance Competition as she is faced with restriction of traveling visa to Singapore.
And as such the China bellydance troupe’s visa application is still pending for approval and in the event that they can’t make it SSF will floor 3 Singapore troupes verses 3 Taiwan troupes for the Asia League. There will only be one Asia Champion.
Ms Annie Deng from China will be replacement Judge.

Belly dancers aim to share the passion of dance and celebrate “sisterhood” among women from all walks of life. We want to celebrate women of all races, cultures, body shapes & size. We hope to add zest to women’s lives so they can live with panache!
This event raises the awareness of the history, culture & artistic aspect of bellydance. It shares the spirit of bellydance in not only in Eastern lands but also Asia.
This year Asia Global Bellydance Competition Regional will be held in Singapore on 7 June at VivoCity Amphitheatre

Solo category competition
6 June 2009 from 12nn to 4pm
Reporting time for sound check at 12pm
* Music for Traditional and Fusion category is 3mins each
* There must be at least 5 participations registered in this event for this competition to take place
Prize
Local Solo - 1st Prize – S$300 value worth
Sg Children category competition
6 June 2009 from 4pm to 5pm

Children Bellydance Competition (5-12 yrs old) - 1st Prize S$150 value worth
